ABOUT

Graduated in Law from the University of La Laguna (ULL) and graduated in Community Law from the College of Europe (Bruges, Belgium).

She is Public official of the Higher Corps of Administrators, Scale of General Administrators of the Administration of the Autonomous Community of the Canary Islands.

During these 4 years she has been in charge of the revision and improvement of the tax incentive that has become the best taxation in Europe and its local institutional promotion with external, national and international projection, highlighting countries such as Norway, USA, Canada , Brazil, United Kingdom, Brussels and Morocco.

Before being named president of the Canary Islands Special Zone (ZEC), she held the position of Counselor for the Hon. Cabildo Insular de Tenerife. In addition to being the head of the European Affairs department and as the internal auditor of the Paying Agency for European aid paid by the European Funds, namely the European Agricultural Guarantee Fund (EAGF) and the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD), as well as being responsible for the Information Center of the European Commission Europe Direct.

During these years she has held positions of responsibility in different Public Administrations of the Government of the Canary Islands, among which the Director General of Rural Development of the Government of the Canary Islands and previously, member of the Board of Administration of the Canary Institute of Administration and Employment.
