Vicente Boluda Fos is is the current president of the Valencian Association of Entrepreneurs.
Executive President and majority shareholder of Boluda Corporación Marítima, he holds a doctorate in law from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid and a degree in Legal Sciences, with several master’s degrees in maritime law.
He has reached the largest fleet controlled by a single employer in Europe, being the second in the world in tugs and the third of the continent in maritime rescue with an annual turnover of around 450 million euros.
He is a member of several academies and associations (Royal Academy of Jurisprudence and Legislation, Propeller Club of Valencia), and holds the position of president of the National Tugboat Association of Spain (ANARE) and Maritime Terminals of the Southeast (TMS).
He is also the first vice-president of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Navigation of Valencia, vice-president of the Association of Spanish Shipping Companies ANAVE; and notable of the Superior Council of Chambers of Commerce.
Boluda occupies the position of adviser in the patronage of the Valencian Foundation of Advanced Studies, in the Autonomous Port of Valencia and in the Terra Mítica theme park. He is patron of the Puerto de Las Palmas Foundation, managing director of Britannia P & I London and patron of the Fundación La Marca de Garantia del Port de Valencia.
In his professional career he has also been legal adviser to the Ministry of Defense and specialist agent in maritime insurance. He was also president of Aguas de Valencia (AVSA) until July 2007 replacing him in the position Eugenio Calabuig Gimeno.
